Stony Plain Road Business Association Launches Free Outdoor Live Music Series
Music on the Road brings free live Edmonton music directly to the street, replacing the beloved Music in the Park series
EDMONTON — The Stony Plain Road Business Association (SPRBA) is proud to announce the launch of Music on the Road, a free outdoor summer live music series bringing live local music directly to the businesses and plazas along Stony Plain Road.
The series runs on four Saturdays from July 11 to Aug. 15, 2026, with performances from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at locations along Stony Plain Road in Edmonton's west end.
Formerly known as Music in the Park, the annual community event has been reimagined this year in direct response to ongoing construction along the Stony Plain Road corridor. With reduced foot traffic impacting local businesses, SPRBA made the decision to bring the music to where businesses are — activating the street, drawing community members back to the area, and showing residents that Stony Plain Road is open, vibrant, and worth visiting.

Each event will feature local Edmonton musicians performing at neighbourhood gathering spots along the corridor, with two acts per evening. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
