Soultuary Wellness Center
Now open in Edmonton (14930 Stony Plain Rd)! Soultuary Wellness Center invites clients to reset the nervous system and heal holistically. Ahead of their grand opening event, we chatted with Shawna MacNeil, Wellness Specialists, to find out more about Soultuary and the services offered. Learn more about float therapy, cold plunge therapy, healing capabilities of red light therapy & more on the Soultuary Wellness Blog. We're thrilled to welcome them to the neighbourhood!
What does "Soultuary" mean and what's the inspiration behind your business?
There isn’t a deep backstory behind the name—and that’s actually part of what makes it special.
When I got involved, I asked Rae-Ann Wood-Schatz what she felt the space should be called, and Soultuary is what came through. Instead of a Sanctuary, it became a Soultuary—a place that honors the soul just as much as the body.
Through our work with Integrity Seminars, we’ve long supported the mind, body, and soul. Yet we recognized that something was still missing—the body’s role in healing, especially through nervous system regulation. Soultuary Wellness Center was created to fill that gap.
It’s designed to help people slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with their bodies so true integration can happen. Because healing doesn’t live in just one place—it happens when mind, body, and soul are supported together.
What services does Soultuary provide?
Float Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, Cold Plunge Therapy, Steam Shower, Red Light Therapy, SOQI Bed Infrared Therapy with Hypnotherapy, Massage Therapy, Neurofeedback Therapy, Reiki and Lymphatic Facial.
What's one reason you're excited to serve the community?
We are so excited to offer a safe, supportive space where people can learn, practice, and experience nervous system regulation.
The nervous system plays a profound role in why so many individuals are struggling in daily life. Our bodies are designed for calm environments, meaningful connection, and time spent in safety and rest. Yet modern life is busy, demanding, and often out of alignment with our natural rhythms.
At Soultuary, we offer a place to slow down—to relax, reset, and rejuvenate your nervous system—so you can return to life feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
Because when the nervous system feels safe, everything else begins to soften.
Take us behind the scenes. What's the funniest moment during your team's journey getting ready to open?
One of the funniest—and most meaningful—parts of this entire journey has been watching my 8-year-old (who just turned 10) help with every single piece of this project, from demolition to Grand Opening. She tore down walls, ripped up floors, helped build furniture, moved things around, and showed up day after day with laughter, curiosity, and pure joy—especially during the moments that felt stressful or overwhelming.
She reminded us what this was really about.
Her teacher has kindly given her the day off this Friday so she can participate with us in both the VIP Grand Opening and the Public Grand Opening—something we’ll never forget. Watching her be part of creating something from the ground up has been one of the greatest gifts of this entire experience.
What's a simple wellness tip everyone can start today?
The simplest wellness tip you can start today is learning how to breathe deeper—specifically, practicing full belly breaths.
Most of us are incredibly busy, constantly switching from task to task. Many of us are also living with some version of stress or unresolved trauma. Over time, our bodies adapt by becoming shallow breathers.
Shallow breathing is the body’s way of preparing for action. It keeps us alert, ready to respond, ready to protect. In moments of danger, this is useful—it helps us move fast and react quickly. But we were never meant to live there.
Our bodies are designed to be belly breathers. Deep, intentional breathing signals safety to the nervous system. It tells the body, “I’m okay right now.” From that place, healing, clarity, focus, and regulation become possible.
When you slow your breath, you slow your body. When you slow your body, your nervous system begins to reset. And the beautiful part? Your breath is always available to you—no equipment, no cost, no special space required.

Anything else you'd like to add or highlight?
This space is a continuation of legacy.
Integrity Seminars is celebrating 25 years in business this year, and with Soultuary Wellness Center, we’ve added another meaningful layer to that legacy—one created to further support our community through nervous system regulation, restoration, and care.
What began as a vision has now become a living, breathing space for healing.
Thank you Rae-ann Wood-Schatz for holding the dream so faithfully and for trusting me with the opportunity to bring it to fruition. Your leadership, belief, and heart have made this possible.
