The Path to Personalized Care
Tell us a little about yourself and what led you into healthcare and opening your own pharmacy.
I’m a pharmacist and pharmacy owner with a passion for helping people improve their health and well-being. My journey into healthcare came from wanting to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through accessible, personalized care. Opening my own pharmacy gave me the opportunity to build stronger relationships with patients, and to provide a more community-focused approach to healthcare.
What do you enjoy most about working directly with patients and customers?
What I enjoy most is building relationships with patients and being able to make a positive impact on their health, and daily lives. Whether it’s answering questions, helping them understand their medications, or simply being someone they can trust, I find it very rewarding to support people in their healthcare journey.

What are some summer essentials that you carry at BeHealthy and some general healthy tips for the warmer months ahead?
At BeHealthy Pharmacy, we carry a variety of summer essentials, including sunscreen, allergy medications, hydration products, first aid supplies, insect repellents, travel health items, and over-the-counter medications for common seasonal concerns.
Some healthy tips for the warmer months are:
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Sun Protection: Protect your skin with sunscreen, and avoid too much direct sun exposure during peak hours.
- Store Medications Safely: Keep medications stored properly during hot weather, as high temperatures can lower their effectiveness.

Outside of work, how do you enjoy spending time in Edmonton during the summer?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, playing cricket, and exploring Edmonton during the summer. I like visiting local parks, attending community events and festivals, enjoying the river valley, and staying active outdoors. Summer is also a great time to connect with friends, and enjoy everything the city has to offer.

The most rewarding part of owning a pharmacy is being able to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. Building trust with patients, supporting them through their healthcare journey, and knowing the pharmacy is making a positive impact in the community is incredibly fulfilling.
