Vision

SPR believes that everyone deserves access to vibrant neighbourhoods and our vision supports businesses having accessible, safe, walkable, and profitable business. We work to build a destination mainstreet with a thriving local economy with inviting spaces making residents and visitors feel that they belong.

The Stony Plain Road Business Association (SPR) represents the interests of over 500 businesses along Stony Plain Road and Area. We focus on the collective priorities of our members: programs and services in the areas of cleanliness, beautification, safety, place making, business support, marketing, advocacy and mobility. We represent our members’ shared goals, create positive solutions and take meaningful action to constantly improve the Stony Plain Road experience.

We advocate for our members and collaborate with businesses, local policymakers, non-profit organizations, agencies and governmental organizations and all of the people who make up our community. The area intersects six communities within the west-central district of Jasper Place in Edmonton: Glenora, Grovenor, Canora, West Jasper Place/Sherwood, Glenwood, and Britannia/Youngstown.
