Meet Our New Special Events Coordinator!

The Stony Plain Road Business Association is excited to introduce our new Events Specialist!

Kyle Tibayan will be the Special Events Coordinator for the Stony Plain Road Business Association for the summer of 2021. Kyle was born in the Philippines but moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2006, and eventually Fort McMurray, Alberta in 2007, which he considers his hometown. He made his way to Edmonton for post-secondary school but still visits Fort McMurray during the summer and holidays. Kyle has recently graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biological Sciences. Kyle has a diverse background with both volunteering and work. He has volunteered with university research, student community groups, and local charity groups. His past work involved working for university research projects, security, and multiple customer service positions within local restaurants in his hometown. Within his role, Kyle hopes to work together with businesses and other SPR BIA members to engage the community around Jasper Place. His future endeavors are focused on achieving a position within an organization to improve its functions and achieve its desired goals.
